Score-A-Treat

Happy Spooky Day to all of those that celebrate!

For me, I have a busy day ahead which is why I put this post together on Friday so it would be ready for Saturday. Today, I will be hosting my final Saturday Open Gym before we go to two times a week next week. I will also be going to a Playoff Game for my high school football team I played for.

So there isn't a lot of time for spooky hijinks.

But, there is time for coffee. If you were sitting next to me now, we both would be having a cup.

*takes a sip, tips cup towards screen as a good morning greeting*

I have been itching for something to rip and the finances allowed me around $20 to do so. Since there aren't many options around that price anymore that I enjoy, I decided to have some fun and grabbed a 2026 Score-A-Treat.

This product is different than year's past. With Panini unable to use logos and a lack of pro sports contracts, the product this year is a mixed bag of sports.

I was fine with that. There were also some Giants on the checklist I had to grab anyways. The other fun part with this year's set is that it's not just all base cards. This year you can find parallels, numbered parallels and even autographs. For the price and the amount of packs to rip and cards I said this will be worth the fun.

In every package of 2026 Score-A-Treat you find 40 packs of 3 cards each. These roughly will run you between $20-$24 a package depending on where you buy. You will find one parallel per pack and one numbered per package on average. Then a chance at autographs from what I have been told fall one in two packages.

Since there are so many cards in a package, I am only showing off my favorite ones. I didn't have the time to scan them all in.

Base Card Monster Bash Judge

Base have white borders, this is a slime border Terrell Davis

Spider Webs Monster Bash Aaron Judge. This was actually in my first pack, I thought maybe this was a sign of good things to come.

Monster Bash Lawrence Taylor. This one is a pumpkin parallel.

I am not sure if these are short prints or what, but I only found one of these in my package. I think Ric Flair would be great in a haunted house. Can you imagine walking down a darkly lit hallway and out of nowhere a  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! comes at ya. Yeah, made you jump didn't I?

And finally, my "hit" of the package. A witches hat parallel /249 of Earl Campbell.

That was a fun break for the cost. Since I am not in this hobby for the money and only the fun, I would rank this like 3/5 for fun factor.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween.

In comments today, tell me you favorite Halloween movie. Mine is actually Halloween, the original from 1978. None of that remake garbage here. I also like the sequel Halloween II as well. Once again, original, not remake.
