*coffee brewed and already been sipped, it's time for a new Cards Over Coffee*
I still have some loose ends to finish up before I move on with this year.
But even before that, I need my coffee and I need it now.
*takes a sip, thinks about the JG Wentworth commercial I just referenced*
Today's post comes thanks to an idea from Night Owl Cards who took the idea from Diamond Jesters. I wanted to make sure to backtrack this correctly and now it's my second year of posting it.
I liked the idea so much last year, I figured I would bring it back this year and try to get it posted earlier in the month and not so late.
Let's start:
This is my 14th year blogging overall but going into my sixth year here on Cards Over Coffee. I just retired Sport Card Collectors at the end of 2025 and will continue to do on and off posts on Big Blue Cardboard, my Giants spinoff blog, occasionally throughout this year when time permits. But, this will be the main blogging focal point.
This blog had 132 posts last year, which was 19 less than 2025 and one of my lowest years since 2023.
The month with the most posts was February with 19 which is followed up with July with 17. The least amount was August with 4 as I was prepping for school.
The highest viewed post last year was the Coffee Break with 2025 Score Football Blaster box with 3177 views.
I don't have exact notes on the most commented post of last year as I replied to every comment, but I will say I had roughly 4-5 comments per post which is a yearly average high for me on here.
This blog has 72 followers. Which is same from the previous year. My goal is still to reach 80 on here by year's end.
As for blog stats, I don't quite know how to read this chart and how this is broken down, not sure if it's views per month or what, but it appears this blog was on the rise in 2025 despite my lack of posts. I guess that's a good thing and maybe it will continue to rise as long as I can post more.
When it comes to my card additions, I don't have the card breakdown for last year for what I added to my PC, there was so many coming and going but I hope to keep track of some stats this year such as incoming cards, leaving cards and how many trades I made. Next year my hope is that this post will be more detailed and this will only count cards coming from January 1st on so any I post from Christmas won't count.
Well, there you have it. Let me know in comments if anything surprised you.
I hope everyone has a great Friday! I have basketball practice tonight before our first game tomorrow!

Ps: If you haven't yet done so, please vote in Trading Card Database Site Awards. Voting ends January 10th with winners being announced on January 11th. There are a great variety of categories to vote in...including Favorite Blog :) You can vote on those HERE.

The huge spike towards the end of the graph is interesting. I think it would be fun to analyze that point and see what happened. You are doing a great job, and I think how you continue depends on taking into account all aspects of your life at the current moment in time. Maybe it will be different a month from now. It is something to be monitored as you go forward. Just an opinion from this reader. Most of all, have fun!
