Today I am turning the big 4-0.

I can't believe this day has arrived, but I am glad it has. It's better to reach 40 then not to. That alone is the biggest blessing especially after all that I have gone through. I will also try not to have too much of a midlife crisis today.
Try being the key word.

I spent some time this morning to see which celebrities I share my birthday with. The list includes Glenn Close, Bruce Willis, Renee Taylor, and a few others including 2x Super Bowl Champion NY Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw.
Back in December, I won an autograph jersey from Ahmad on Instagram and have been meaning to show it off for a while. Today seemed like a good day to do so.
It was the first time I had actually won anything on Instagram and wouldn't have even seen or entered if it wasn't for a fellow Giants fan tagging me in the post.
Side note, I really miss the red jerseys the Giants used to wear, hope they bring those back again.
This Ahmad signed jersey makes it the third signed Giants jersey I own. All three are running backs in Rodney Hampton, Brandon Jacobs and now Ahmad.

I don't have anything big planned today such as a birthday party, you reach a certain point in life when those don't matter. You also have to have friends to invite as well and I don't haha. Well, other than you guys reading this today and online friends. But, I don't think any of you will take a long trip today :)
I plan to just enjoy the day with a cup of joe with my carrot cake my mother-in-law will be dropping off. I hope you guys will have a long-distance cup with me!
