Knock & Roll

I know I haven't done a lot of trading like I had hoped with bloggers yet this year, but it feels like I have gotten a few mail days from a few of them.

Especially Johnny from Johnny's Trading Spot. I feel like he has been Knocking and Rolling at my mail box recently.

First up, a contest win on his blog,
Q from Impractical Jokers. I almost have all of the missing ones back. I still have no idea where my originals went. I believe Sal is the last one I need again.

It may not be Christmas, but certainly felt like it when I kept finding the mail days from Johnny.

And finally, a Rodney Hampton numbered phone card from the contest winnings.

I would say that was hard hitting knocking and rolling with that contest win.

But, it wasn't much longer after the contest win that Johnny put some cards up to be claimed. It appeared not too many made claims at the time I made mine, so I was able to add a few cools cards to different collections.
(I hated the 90's Bulls, but I claimed this one to send to a friend who needs some lifting up)

Ewing showing his power. Some day, soooommmeee day, I would love to add his autograph. I pretty much have an autograph from every Knicks player in the 90's that meant something to me. Patrick is the last, but he is also the hardest one.

Emmitt carved up my Giants every chance he got. But, I will still grab his cards to remember the times my mother would take Emmitts out of my father's hands when he pulled one because she is a Cowboys fan.

And finally when I see a unique/oddball card of a player I watched in the 90's, I can't just let it sit there and be lonely, I needed to knock and roll that into my list of grabs.

Thanks to Johnny for all of the goods! I hope to hit you back with some myself along with some other bloggers I hope to knock and roll from my list of Christmas peeps I need to send to.

Sorry for the short post tonight, I wanted to keep a streak going but I also have school work to dive into! There will be another post publishing at 1am and another the following day!

Enjoy and if you happen to be reading this in the AM, enjoy that cup of coffee. It was too late tonight for a brew with this one.

  1. I just made a pot for others in my house. I will wait until after I sleep to get my first cup. Nice cards you got from Johnny. I got a few I chose also. The Hampton card is sweet! Enjoy the time as it is wherever you are.
