So Much To Do

As summer rolls on and after re-checking my New Years goals I posted about earlier this week, I realized I have so much to do.

*takes a stressed out sip of coffee that was freshly brewed*

Being down one arm, taking two classes and trying to keep up with family stuff has put my hobby on the backburner....at least for this year.

Next summer, it will be the summer of Matt! Just like in Seinfeld with the Summer Of George!

For now, I have to think about the messy contents of these boxes after I did my big downsizing project. 

The boxes marked hits, aren't at all organized by team anymore or even sport.

Boxes marked NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL and completed sets may not have those contents anymore. More than likely they are the 90's cards that I pulled from the downsizing project. There are just tossed in there until I have time to separate them by brand, year, etc.

Some boxes are still marked right, many are not. There is a lot to go through to sort and maybe find more to downsize from. 

My plan this Christmas since I no longer have any extra autographs or relics to trade away, I will be downsizing all of my inserts from 2010 and newer from every sport. I have a happy home planned for all of them already, but I also plan to pull some out for my trading buddies in the blogging world. I also won't trade anything or unload anything from the 90's to mid 2000's. Those are mine!

Hopefully I can at least get to that project by the time October/November hits, and I have my hopeful shoulder back.

I will post more about the continuing downsizing project at some point.

For now, I must tip my mug to you for a bit. The mailbox has run dry, my ideas outside of that have run off and for the first time in 9 LONG YEARS I will be actually taking a REAL vacation thanks to my sister in law starting tomorrow for three to four days with family visting from afar after that. This will all equal a drought of posts on here for awhile until I get back and until I find something in my mail box to post about. Unless I can find my creativity again or do a vacation recap of some form. The post today is currently the last draft I have on blogger.

I hope in the meantime everyone has a Happy and Safe 4th of July holiday and see you on the coffee side. Flip side isn't how I roll right now, I can't flip. I can only stay in one place currently.

Trending This Week In My Hobby

Welcome to Week 7 of Trending This Week In My Hobby.

It's been a few weeks, let's see what has changed. I almost canceled this segment, but for now, it will hold on for another week.

If you missed a previous week or you are curious what this segment is about if this is your first time seeing it, I will be posting my Top 10 things I have been either adding or seeking the most. In other words what has been trending in my hobby, hence the name. Next week, the list could change and some things could disappear with new things added or move up and down my interests list.

You just never know because I never know where my head will be week to week.

Last time as you will see below, I had nothing trending in my hobby. I didn't have a hobby focus. But, since shoulder surgery and since I have spent a lot more time sitting around, I became really focused on completing and chasing Darkwing Duck cards from 2026 Topps Chrome Disney. Then I have been obsessed with the 2025 Panini Phoenix Hakeem Nicks cards which I want to get as many as I can. Sort of like the Wild Card Splatt Eli Manning cards.

The Knicks playoff run led to those chases and the rest are the usuals. Rodney is caught on a little more since I updated my TCDB numbers which you can see by clicking the tab at the top of the blog. I have included all of my TCDB collections there.

2026 New Years Goal Updates

This year, I have some things to accomplish in the hobby, blog and personally.

I am halfway through the year, so let's see where I stand with these goals.

Personally, I put on the ten pounds I wanted to lose last year and I am heading into the wrong direction with my health conditions so I want to lose that. I also want to make sure I can balance out life and school better this year. But, that also means I hope to actually continue with school and keep the momentum from Semester one going. (I have lost two so far. I guess that's a start)

For the hobby, I really need to cut back from last year's massive list. I feel like between life and school now, my hobby list needs to be way shorter to feel like I can accomplish some of the things I hope to.
  1. I need to penny sleeve all of my inserts. I have tons of penny sleeves now, it's time to do the longer part of the job. (haven't started this at all)
  2. Label my boxes like my binders and re-number them all (everything is lost right now) (nope, not done)
  3. Binder up my non-sport cards and sort them by sets. (I wished this was done, probably will be my first project when I get my arm back)
  4. Remove the index cards from my Giants PC and use Card Dividers instead (index cards are too flimsy and hard to read) (have the materials, but not the time to do the job)
  5. Complete my Griffey card count and get a final number (haven't located all of my Griffey cards yet, hopefully that will get done by years end as well)
  6. Put away all of the cards from 2025 that need to be taken care of (two 5000 count boxes full) (YES!! ALL OF MY CARDS ARE PUT AWAY!! The one thing I probably did do!!)
  7. Update my Rodney Hampton PC on TCDB (did this too!!!)
  8. Focus on finishing up some long time 90's sets, I am looking at you 1997 Spx basketball (nope havent' added any )
Now onto my blogging ones ,
  1. List more set needs on the blog (nope)
  2. List PWE trade cards on the blog (I did, then pulled it since nobody was interested)
  3. Reach 80 followers (haven't gained a single follower this year)
  4. Reach One Million Views (WE DID IT!!)
  5. Blog. Just blog. (BEEN TRYING!)
Well, there you have it for my updates. Even with a much smaller list I haven't done too much this year. I will update again at year's end before I create next year's edition. I may have to make an even smaller list for next year.

5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week

Welcome to the next edition of 5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week. I almost got rid of this segment but decided I would keep it for now. Hopefully there will be more interaction, or it could be axed over the next few episodes.

1.As always, I did a lot more social media posts across my planet of them. I started doing Rodney Hampton, Eli Manning updates along with small mail day posts on there since it's much faster to send out a social media message than putting up a big blog post.

5. I haven't gotten a lot of mail days recently, so have been taking notes on what kind of posts I can do until my mailbox starts seeing cards again. Hard to trade with one arm and one stamp.

Is 84 An Insane Number Or Is It Fun?

Hello and good morning, Coffee Card Enthusiasts! Whether your here for the cards, the coffee, or both I hope you're having a great day.

Today, I am going to talk about a crazy thing I recently found out.

 
I was mailed this Hakeem Nicks and thought, how cool is this parallel? I wonder what some others look like. Upon doing my research on that part I was beginning to think of another rainbow chase. 

Sadly, despite how great of a player Hakeem Nicks was, his cards are cheap. Which is sad but also falls perfect for me.

So, I was like, let's do this. 

Before I do any kind of set, player or rainbow chase, my main thing is to start up a spreadsheet. 

I began to set up my spreadsheet then went to copy and paste the parallels to the spreadsheet.

That's when I uncovered something.....

Something shocking...

Something uncanny and unheard of...

There were 84 parallels.

Well including the base, which I count as a part of it.

EIGHTY FOUR. You are not reading this wrong.

Is 84 an insane number or is it fun?

I didn't know what to think at first, but I realized that maybe it is fun. I know I won't get all 84, but how far can I get? Sometimes it's more about the journey then it is about the finish.

It's Been Since '73

The New York Knicks last won an NBA championship in 1973, which was 53 years ago. That year they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 4 games to 1 and had a team that featured many stars including Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, and Earl Monroe.

To put that into perspective for myself, it was ten years before I was born and ten years after that was when I found myself to be a Knicks fan.

So, I have been a Knicks fan for 33 years of my life. I was a die-hard Knicks fan from 1993-2004. Just a fan from 2004-2022, then in 2023 my love for basketball returned again especially more-so the last two years where I started coaching it. 

Basketball is back for me. The Knicks are back for me. A championship is back for New York.

*takes a celebratory sip, which means a gulp, of freshly brewed coffee*

I can remember all of the disappointing endings to the mid to late 90's Knicks teams that failed which included the 1999 team that beat all of the odds to the Finals to fall to the Spurs. So, to have this Knicks team beat the Spurs this year, made this long wait even more worthy.

To celebrate this year's team run through the playoffs, I started adding some autographs to my collection.

But first, I had to add a new card of the Finals MVP. I like shiny cards, okay?

And finally, we end with Marcus Camby. Not only a fun 90's player in general, but he was a Knick for a short time as well.

My goal is to land my number one want, Patrick Ewing hopefully by year's end. There are also Knick legends I am hoping to add as well, some of which are the ones above in the previous championship team. Most wanted would be Willis Reed from that group. But would like to add them all. They are names my father talked about for years.

I do have two other Knicks cards on their way and will post those when they arrive. They are not autographed, but cool regardless. Some day when my arm is healthy, I would like to put my PC back together and see where I am at.

I am not sure how many people can say they have watched all of their sports teams win a championship, but now I finally can. I have seen two NY Giants Super Bowls, many NY Yankees World Series and now I have a Knicks Championship. I can die a happy New York fan with a cup of coffee by my side of course.

The 2026 Cards Over Coffee Hall Of Fame Returns!!

*coffee is hot and ready and I am ready for a new #CardsOverCoffee*

Hall Of Fame. It's where the best of the best go.

And that's where they will go in 2026 as I changed my mind 6 months into the year. I have backtracked the past few months and added cards to go in. This will be a new rule this year, I will be able to nominate ones to go in as well.

With a little cheating by copying the previous post about this, here's the deal and here is what I need from you guys, the readers.

I have created a box where I will be storing my Coffee Card Hall Of Fame collection. In this box, every year from here on out until I can't brew anymore coffee, I will be placing FIVE cards a year voted on by you to go into the Coffee Card Hall Of Fame. However, I will need some card nominees all year for you to vote on. This is where you guys come into play again. Every post on CARDS OVER COFFEE after today until the December 1st end date, you can nominate a card or cards from any post-including box breaks-in comments of that post you think should be in the Hall for the 2026 year. These will be the nominees.

Those cards will be POSTED HERE all year long. Remember, this is a Hall Of Fame nomination. Not every card has to be a patch, autograph or low numbered, but Hall worthy. I will close nominations on December 1st and will let you guys begin the voting process (how I will do this will be determined later on) on which five cards you would choose to make it into the Hall. The cards with the most votes, get in.

So, from today on, make sure you get those nominations in, and I will do my best to remind you to do so. It will be a long year ahead so I am hoping we can nominate more cards in than last year which will lead to more fun at the end of this.

Did You Miss Me?

 *coffee in left hand, pain meds in front, takes a sip, takes pain meds, begins to write*

Hey! Did you miss me? I hope so! I should be back a little more as things have slowed down a little but will be picking up more soon. I will try to fit posts in between.

Here are some things to recap the past few weeks I have been MIA.

 
There has been plenty of coffee. Plenty. I picked up one of these Dunkin' iced buckets for a friend and strapped it into my front seat. This was before surgery and was also the last bucket available. I really wanted one just for my collection but maybe next time....if there is one.

For the first time ever, I have grown Lupin and a good amount of it spread across two flower beds. Hopefully the seeds will fall and more will appear next year when I can give my garden more love.

 
I went and got my shoulder fixed. Mild tear in the labrum, tendonitis of the rotator cuff and something with my bicep where they had to unattached and reattached it. I have a long summer ahead of rehab and can't do much for three months. Hopefully I will be at 100% by the time basketball season starts.

 
I took two summer classes I found to be fun, but also challenging when you can't move that well. I took Drawing 1-I can't draw but here is an example of a charcoal piece I did so be nice-and Creative Writing which has been a lot of fun, but once again a bit challenging to type since I only have one arm that can move around well. Though the last couple of days, especially today I have been able to move it more.

And the final thing I haven't mentioned yet is HOW ABOUT THOSE KNICKS!!! I will show off how I celebrated that impressive victory as well.

I hope you all have been doing well. More card posts to come this week as I had some drafts prepped and ready to go before I went full surgery.

Card #1,000 Of 2026 Has Arrived

*sits down with a fresh cup*

*takes a sip*

After I did my last post in this series with Card #600, I decided since my milestones are coming a little faster recently than not, that it was time I stretched out these celebrations a little instead of every 100th card. Now, it will be every 500th card.

This is why we have fast forwarded to Card #1,000 on the year.

I still can't believe I am already at this level and more. Of course it helps my numbers when I acquire such huge mail days from blog reader Grady M which is where I counted Card #1,000 from.

 
Which happens to be this 2026 Topps Stars Of The MLB Aaron Judge.

I have got to be honest with this insert line; I feel Topps has beaten this one down to the ground. They are overproduced and the design is lazily improved one year to the next. This years and last years are so similar you really have to look to notice the very slight difference.

I think it's time to put an end to these after this year.

Before I finish up this post, I wanted to share my grades from the second semester. Keep in mind, I have never been to college before, haven't been to school in general in 25 years, and this is college at age 43.
Not too bad! Ignore the heart face, that is one of my summer classes and that hasn't started yet...but very soon.

Which leads me to another part of this post, this could be the last one for a while on here and any of my blogs. Between my always hectic summers now with added schooling and shoulder surgery, this could eat up all of my time.

Plus, I think some down time from blogging is what I and these blogs need so I can refocus and figure out where I want to blog, why and how to move forward with doing so. Right now, all blogs have been lacking in new ideas, views and especially in comments. I feel also my content has taken a hit because of it. Maybe a nice break refresher will be what the doctor ordered.

I hope everyone has a good break and see you when the cup is refilled again.

However, they no longer look like this. I made a tab like the Coffee Break one at the top of the blog where you can now find them. Go check it out! These are the officially updated as of today numbers. I have also removed the PWE trade tab, there was zero interest in that and trading in general.

  
3. I did some more serious sorting!!!!
I have officially broken everything down and have been putting it away slowly as I go. It's been a busy school break, and I have been taking full advantage!

4.I had another huge mail day show up that I had to sort and break down as well. This took some time. This was a donated box of goods from a long time Twitter friend who was just looking to unload some stuff and I said I would take it on. Some of these will make their way to new homes such as the girls' basketball cards that will find the girls in the fall/winter.

5. I have commented on other blogs, replied to comments on here and have taken a few pictures for future posts so I will be ready.

Yes, you are reading this right. There isn't really anything trending in my hobby right now or actually in the last couple of weeks since I last posted this segment. Weird right? I think this is the very first time in my collecting that I am actually at a standstill with collecting and trying to figure out what to collect since there isn't really a direction right now.

Card #600 Of 2026 Has Arrived

It's here!

Card #600 of 2026 is in hand and sitting next to me.

As I said with Card #500, these cards may or may not be something mind blowing.

Today's is a simple Stadium Club base card of Derek Jeter from 2025 Stadium Club.
 
This is my first look at 2025 Stadium Club thanks to my buddy Grady M. The weird thing is that these base cards have gone way downhill. He included a few in the box of cards I got from him, and I feel the photography wasn't like it once was and the base cards are made of toilet paper. What happened to the card stock on these? It's non-existent. But I had a feeling Fanatics would find a way to mess up cards.

1 Million

I am officially proud to say that Cards Over Coffee has reached the 1 million view threshold! This occurred last week a couple of days before this blog celebrated its 6th blogversary (which I was surprised by the lack of congrats on that post).

This blog took a while to catch on, but I will say this year it has finally taken on some views, though the lack of comments over the past month have been a little disappointing. But, as someone who has a busy life, I understand there isn't always time for comments.

I do appreciate all of you who come here with a cup of coffee in hand (or Pepsi some have told me) and read my hobby gibberish that I post on here. It makes it worth every hour it takes me to get pictures uploaded and a post composed and edited and posted.

Six years ago, I said, "hey, this is Covid, we are stuck at home, we have nothing else better to do why not start up a new blog?" I went back and forth on it and glad I never went back. Cards Over Coffee has been a lot of fun since Day 1.

I was looking for a new outlet since Sport Card Collectors was slowly dying off and I felt at that point there really wasn't a full way to save it. The idea was that an outlet was going to be the new way to keep on blogging and Cards Over Coffee was the way.

It was a way to combine my two favorite things, cards and coffee, while also being able to have conversations on both. 

Sadly, the blog has taken many shapes over the years, I still feel the first two years were my strongest on here, but it still chugs away (see what I did there?) and I still try to be as creative as possible hoping that everyone will come back and keep reading.

One of these years the big goal would be to win Blog Of The Year, it has come close a couple of times on a couple different sites, but just to be able to continue on is really the main course right now. With school, sports and life taking up a lot of time, blogging has been on the backburner. I am still passionate about doing it and still feel like I can, but it will have to be at times that works best for me.

However, this blog wouldn't be worth writing if it wasn't for you guys the readers who come back and read every post I put up. The comments may not always be there, but I can still see it's being read and I thank you for that.

Here's to a great sixth year going on seven. Thanks for reading, sipping and talking about Cards Over Coffee with me.

5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week

Welcome to the next edition of 5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week. I am glad a few of you have reached out and let me know this is one of your favorite segments on here. I like information such as that.

But, for those of you that are new to this segment, here is the background to it:

This series is once again related/played on by Elon Musk's email to government officials in February 2025 asking them about what five things/accomplishments they did for the week.

Also, once again, this is not about politics. I just liked the idea.

1.As always, I did a lot more social media posts across my planet of them. I started doing Rodney Hampton, Eli Manning updates along with small mail day posts on there since it's much faster to send out a social media message than putting up a big blog post.

2. I finally sat down, did the numbers....

3. I did some sorting!!!!
I finally broke down the package that came from blog reader Grady M and sorted it out. It was a long but fun process. I also had to count all incoming cards which is why number two on this list will need to be updated again.

4.I made a weeks' worth of posts and commented on other blogs as well. I need to take the time next week and reply to everyone's comments.

5. I gathered cards and pictures I want and am taking for future posts. I won't be able to do this once my shoulder surgery is set to happen so I need to get on top of that now so I can actually post this summer still.

Card #500 Of 2026 Has Arrived

Well, I am not sure if you guys will be ready or not, but I will be going on a streak of these kind of posts just to get caught up on them.

I finally have updated my numbers fully on here now, so with every milestone I hit, I made a note of which card arrived or was counted at that time. Some will be base cards, some may be cool cards.

So, let's get to celebrating Card #500 for today.
 
I have been wanting this base card for some time now and finally am happy to have it. This has to be one of the coolest images ever used on a base card. The fact it looks 3D jumping right out at you and even gets onto the border of the card which I have never seen before, this is a winner.

This is the way to celebrate a 500th card of the year.

Now, I want to know in comments. Is this the best base card photo you have seen or does one overrule it? Let me know in comments if you agree and if you don't, what card you would choose.

The Question Is Why?

The question is why?

Why would someone overpay for this card? 
 
Why would someone pay $26 for this card?

When they could have just scrolled down and bought one for under $4 like I did.
 

I mean the only difference was the way the card was listed and the fact it was put into a magnetic case. Mine came in a toploader. I don't feel like paying the extra $22 for a nicely set up picture and a $4 magnetic case is worth it. I don't know about you.

I am happy to have added this Griffey to my PC and especially for the price if I am comparing here. Maybe I got a deal but looking at the average rate for this card I got it for what it should have been for.

What do you guys think about when a card like this sells for more? Is this done by mistake? Is it the misleading title catching unsuspecting buyers off guard if they are new to collecting? Or was it literally because of the picture and magnetic case? And have you ever paid more for a card by mistake?

It's Gotta Be Golden

*sits down, has card nearby, takes a sip of hot beverage and gets ready for new post*

When I was thinking about what title I should come up with for today's card, I immediately thought of the big hit song Golden by KPop Demon Hunters group Huntrix.  If you haven't seen the movie-the movie was meh to me-but the song is very catchy as were most of the songs in the movie.

I have Golden stuck in my head right now.

The title I felt fit today's card since it is gold and shines like its golden, so I felt good about it whether any readers connected the song to the post title.

This is a card, or a set, I have been wanting to add a card from for a long time and a deal finally popped up to be able to add one.

Everyone knows how much I love the Z-Team 90's sets and most collectors give love to the 1995 version. I give most of my love to the 1996 version. But there was also a just as impressive 1997 version, but mainly the parallels to them. The 1995 and 1996 didn't have parallels but they wanted to try something new in 1997 I guess.

The base version of the 1997 Z-Teams were just a basic silver and fell 1:71 packs. Kinda bland in comparison to the previous two years.

But....the parallel has a wow factor.

The 1997 Zenith Z-Team Mirror Golds fell 1:191 packs and stood out big time.

 
I was able to add this Kordell Stewart pretty cheap for such a rare insert.

 
The card back is the same other than the word Mirror Gold on the left side.

I am not sure if I am done with adding these yet. Will there be a set chase like the 1995 and 1996 versions, probably not. I cannot imagine what some of the better players must go for.

It's still fun though!

Trending In My Hobby This Week

Welcome to Week 5 of Trending This Week In My Hobby.

It's been a couple weeks, let's see what has changed.

If you missed a previous week or you are curious what this segment is about if this is your first time seeing it, I will be posting my Top 10 things I have been either adding or seeking the most. In other words what has been trending in my hobby, hence the name. Next week, the list could change and some things could disappear with new things added or move up and down my interests list.

You just never know because I never know where my head will be week to week.

So, the next post will feature the list of stuff for that week and then will compare it to this week for a breakdown of the trending ways and why. If I have an explanation for it.

Hopefully I will.

Ken Griffey Jr continues his domination again for the last couple of weeks. I really need to update my numbers on him.

I also picked up in a trade a Top 5 non-sport autograph I have wanted, stay tuned for that one. So, once again, Non-Sport autos are trending up higher again.

With all of the recent happenings in the hobby, I have spent a lot of time looking at 90's cards again and wondering what fun I can find there. Fanatics buying out everything and pushing the hobby as a money hole has really made me second guess my place in the hobby, so I have spent some time going back in time and realizing that maybe my time needs to be spent there.

We also see a couple newcomers on this list. Topps Neon has Darkwing Duck cards, like real ones and I have picked up a couple of short-printed Russell Wilson cards which has me thinking on a run. But I may not either. I am in a funky spot other than my top three trends right now.

The One Steal At The Show

For the second time in 30 years, I went to a card show last weekend.

I was happy to see another one after the success of last year's show.

However, this year's show had a much different feel to it.

*takes a sip of steamy, hot coffee with a dot of hazelnut creamer*

It started out just like usual, a quiet hour-long drive to an Elks Lodge a few towns away from me.

I arrived about 45 minutes into the show, but you would have thought I was a few hours late. The parking lot was pretty packed already which was already completely different than the previous year's show.

Which immediately had me concerned about how it was going to go.

After finding a parking spot, I went inside and once again paid the $10 to get in which immediately cut into my limited budget for the show.

But I stuck on the wristband and tried to be on my merry way and look for tables worth checking out. This time instead of fifteen or so tables, there may have been closer to double that. Double the tables and double the crowd to start.

 
I never would have expected to find the things I wanted the most at the first table, but that's just the way the cookie crumbled at this show. I hit up the first table I went to and found the $1 bin and dug,dug and dug through. I found some goodies, spent $10 on 11 cards and moved onto the next tables. 

Sadly, I am sure most of you who attend shows where you are probably would have found this stuff in the dime boxes or a little more. But those kinds of boxes didn't exist here at this show.

The problem I had after the first table's stuff, it all went downhill.




Flippers, Pokemon and TCG and "recent sellers" made up the rest of the show. There was so much stuff overpriced. For example, a 2025 Prizm Jaxson Dart rookie you could get on eBay for under $6, were priced for $25-$25 at the show. And that was just some of the overpricing. It was quite depressing and really made me think of where the hobby is heading even more so.

Not to mention, about 95% of the show was all modern cards and anytime I asked a seller if they had any cards from 1995-1999 they just stared at me and shook their head no. This time the show was about modern overpriced, overproduced junk.

What happened to the hobby being a hobby? I remember in the 90's when we had card shows all of the time here that cards were actually affordable and made sense.

It had gotten so bad after the first table, I wasn't sure if I was going to find anything else to bring home.

And I almost didn't.

Until I decided to check out two other boxes from that first table and landed a few 90's hockey insert/parallel cards end my show visit. I spent $10 to get in and $20 in cards overall. I went there with $40 and there was no way I was going to force myself to spend the last $10 just to say I spent it. There wasn't anything priced well enough for me to do so.

Instead that last $10 went into a little over two gallons of gas along with $30 more to fill my tank again.

That's really sad.

So, let's not turn this into a depressing post and show off my scores all from that one table. After spending an hour to dig not only did I find some great 90's goodness, but I also found a cheap surprise that was a steal at the show.

Now drumroll on the big steal of the show......
2022 Mosaic GENESIS parallel rookie of Seiya Suzuki! I don't think the seller knew it was a case hit genesis parallel. This card alone paid for the ticket and the other cards I bought. Right now I am holding onto it until the right trade comes along for it. I paid $1 for it.

Despite the overpricing by everyone, I will say there were a few bright spots. For one, there were actually kids there. Two, some sellers were very friendly and cut some deals. The guy I went to cut prices on a few of the cards above and even gave me a couple free. Three, most sellers that I watched interact with kids were nice. I felt bad for one kid who kept getting shot down sometimes rudely, while trying to trade off an autograph rookie card of Dillion Gabriel. Other than that, it seemed most sellers were treating kids the way they should be treated.

Another cool thing that I wished I had pictures of, was a hockey card sellers table. It was epic. Gretzky rookies, Gretzky autograph, Lemieux autographs, Sidney Crosby autographs, Bobby Orr autograph, Gordie Howe autograph and other legends autographs. It was mind-blowing and probably the best table in the whole show.

Well, that does it for my second show in thirty years. It wasn't as good as last years but was still fun to walk around at. I hope they have it again next year. I know they mentioned something about having another in the fall, but not sure I will attend that one. I guess it depends on how busy I will be recovering still from shoulder surgery, attending school and getting ready to coach basketball again.
