Coffee With Alec Baldwin

Another hot day here. Feeling quite Schweddy today.

Hopefully I don't end up with some Schweddy.....

Well, use your own imagination there.

One of my favorite sketches ever on SNL has to be the Scweddy Balls skit with Alec Baldwin.

So, guess what....

I added his autograph.

He was also great in Beetlejuice (take note that I posted one of his co-stars autograph Geena Davis a few days ago), his narration in Thomas and Friends, voice acting in Boss Baby, and let's not forget an underrated film, Cat In The Hat. Even though Cat In The Hat had a lot of negative reviews, if you watch the movie as an adult and understand the adult humor in it, you will enjoy it. I promise.

Pretty happy with this addition, we won't talk about the recent controversy surrounding him. Let's just talk about all of the Schweddy-ness instead.

I hope everyone has a great Friday.

In comments today, tell me your favorite SNL skit and what your favorite Alec Baldwin movie or television show is.

Coffee With Geena Davis

I am going to be honest, I love sports, but I am no sports movie fan.

There are very few sports movies I enjoy and watch time and time again. I just feel like most sports movies are beating the same old storyline into the ground. Someone rises up from a tough life and becomes some superstar. Been there, seen that.

I like movies that are a little outside of that.

So, my favorites are on a very short list. Well, three I would consider classics I could watch time and time again.

The Sandlot-Comedy, a giant beast and backyard baseball like I used to play with my friends. Boy, I miss those days.
Little Giants-a bunch of "losers" get together and play football against some all-pros. Some laughter and the legendary actors of Rick Moranis and Ed O'Neill (need both autos still). Childish humor, but solid for this childish adult.

And then comes the sports movie with probably the most famous one-liner that everyone will know.

A League Of Their Own. A comedy/drama loaded with big names, great story and the classic line, "There's NO crying in baseball!!"

And I picked up the autograph of who I consider to be the star of the show. Well, on the field, Geena Davis who has also been in a ton of other big movies like Beetlejuice, Thelma And Louise and the Stuart Little movies just to name a few.

Davis plays Dottie Hinson who went from waiting for her husband to return from the war to the super star catcher on the field. Everyone laughed at the thought of a women's baseball league after World War II threatened to shut down the MLB season, but things changed quickly once the girls started to play led by the popularity of Dottie. It kind of reminds me of the WNBA. They had no fans, were probably about to close up shop then Caitlin Clark comes in and drives revenue up by selling out arenas.

Interesting.

Another thing I thought was cool about the movie and Geena, is that I read somewhere that she performed some of her own stunts in the movie including the famous "split catch". That's pretty cool.

There is just a lot of moments in the movie and the story is one that kept my attention. I like also the mix of humor and drama. It may actually rank as my favorite sports movie of the three. Don't tell anyone this ;)

In comments, let me know some of your favorite sports movies, your favorite Geena Davis film, and if you liked or have seen A League Of Their Own.

Hope everyone has a great night or morning depending on when you are reading this.

Coffee With Lou Ferrigno

Today's autograph I have been wanting for some time but couldn't quite ever get my hands onto.

A few times it slipped through the cracks with last second bids which made me very angry.

You wouldn't like me when I am angry.

*proceeds to turn green, picks up laptop getting ready to throw it. realizes autograph sits on desk, calms down and turns back to regular color*

If you haven't figured it out yet...today's autograph is of the man of green himself, Mr Hulk, Lou Ferrigno!

And even though The Incredible Hulk series ran on television before I was born...which makes me angry as well that I couldn't have watched it live.....

You wouldn't like me when I am angry.

*starts to turn green again, pauses, makes a cup of coffee, calms down and returns to typing*

....I was still able to watch it on reruns on SCFY channel I believe when I visited my grandmother.

I was always a nerd/geek so this kind of thing was up my alley.

Another place I saw Lou was on King Of Queens as he played himself on the show as the neighbor.

Why couldn't they bring back King Of Queens?! I loved that show. That makes me angry.

You wouldn't like me when I am angry.

*turns green again, gets ready to hulk smash the coffee cup into the computer and realizes doesn't want to waste coffee, sits down, takes sip and continues on*

I am pretty thrilled to have added this autograph to my collection, just like another one I just added to. That one will come in a future post.

Let me know your favorite show or movie you have seen Lou in.

Coffee With Boyz II Men

I have my coffee in hand and I am ready to have some Coffee With....Boyz II Men!!!

*takes a sip*

For those of us who grew up in the 90's and listened to the radio, you can't tell me that you wouldn't know at least one song by Boyz II Men.

They were that big.

And I was a big fan.

*takes another sip, puts a song on YouTube of theirs to listen to while putting together this post*

When I was scrolling Twitter, I saw a collector post that this year's Pop Century had Boyz II Men autographs, and at that exact moment, I knew I had to have them.

The collector who posted had a triple autograph card of them, but according to my gift card budget, that wasn't going to work.

That's when I found out that each singer had their own card as well and that was something I could jump all over. For some reason, they were cheaper apart then together on a card.

So, I did.
Up first was Nathan Morris who is the founding member of the group.

Next was Wanya Morris who has no relation to Nathan besides his love of music and singing. He also was on the 22nd season of Dancing With The Stars.

Shawn Stockman is a singer and a song writer.

(side note, the group turned to four singers sometime in the 90's but the guy had to leave in the early 2000's due to health issues)

Some of my favorite songs of theirs were all of their biggest hits such as,
  • Motown Philly
  • It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday
  • End Of The Road
  • In The Still Of The Night
  • I'll Make Love To You
  • On Bended Knee
  • Water Runs Dry
I must have listened to those songs many, many times and to the point I know the lyrics to them. I still have the CD of their greatest hits. Now I just need to somehow get a CD player so I can listen to them again.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

I am always on the lookout for more nostalgic autographs from Pop Century, I know there are others to pick up. I have updated my Top Wants list with them. Helen Hunt is at the top of wants on there.

Before I close for fun here are my coffee versions of the songs I listed above by Boyz II Men Make Coffee,
  • Brewtown Philly
  • It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday's Cup
  • End Of The Cup
  • In The Still Of The Night I Am Making Coffee
  • I'll Make Coffee ForYou
  • On Bended Knee With A Cup
  • Coffee Runs Out
Have a great day and don't let that cup run dry!

Coffee With Jim Belushi

It's coffee time!!

It's card time!

It's Cards Over Coffee Time!!

*takes a sip*

We have finally come to the end of my four autograph card trade with @levy2628 and the end of my spoiling you guys with consecutive days of posts since my drafts are now empty.

I haven't done this many posts in a long time, but it also helps that these posts are very quick ones to put together. Not something I like to do on this blog. I like to take my time and make longer posts on here and make it worth you clicking the link.

So, there may be some change coming. Stay tuned.

*takes a sip*

The final autograph in my trade with @levy2628 is Jim Belushi.

Jim has been in a million television and movie roles, but what I know him best from is a very underrated comedy gem of a tv series called According To Jim.

A few years ago, I watched the entire series and really enjoyed the show and every character on it. It actually had me laughing out loud a few times. More than you guys probably laugh when I say funny things on here. Maybe.

If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest it.

Let me know in comments if you have or what you have seen with Jim in it if anything.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

I was hoping that Jim would find a way to revive the series and bring it back now-a-days to see where all of the characters were now, but it appears his life is dedicated to Cannabis now and even has a show on it I believe. That's not at all my thing, I don't do drugs, smoke or drink (anything but coffee), but I will always watch reruns of the show when it's on TV.

I hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday. Mine won't be as I am off to the dentist I go soon. I hate going to the dentist even for a cleaning like today's appointment is.

Coffee With Carmen Electra

I know some of you have been waiting to see my final three autographs in my trade with @levy2628, so I figured why not throw one up tonight.

I will admit though, I have no coffee with this post, but it doesn't mean I am not thinking about coffee and counting down til morning for it.

*thinks of coffee*

The next autograph in my trade is from an actress I have watched some movies of. She isn't at the top-top of my needs list, but is on there. Her role as Roxanne in Good Burger puts her here as part of my nostalgic need.

Yes, I am talking about the eye appealing Carmen Electra.

Other movies I have seen her in are parody ones such as Scary Movie, Date Movie, and Disaster Movie.

What have you seen her in? Let me know in comments!

It's time for me to get ready for bed. This just means I can sleep til coffee. Can't wait.

Coffee With Susie Essman

Another trade with @levy2628 only means there were some non-sport treasures uncovered and added to my collection.

This time @levy2628 reached out to me to see if I was interested in any of his non-sport autographs he was unloading, and I am pretty sure he already knew that answer.

YES!

So, I scrolled through a group of pictures he sent and found about four that caught my eye, and I worked out a deal for three of the four I really wanted. Which is a winning percentage, I just wished I had enough trade bait to had done them all.

In the end, I still did end up with four autographs as I chose one of the others just to fill the trade gap which is today's card I am showing off.

I don't know Susie Essman, upon Google it tells me she is mainly known for Curb Your Enthusiasm which is a show I have never seen, I just chose this auto because I like the Fans Of The Game set and it's technically a Yankees card.

But the other three, I definitely know and so won't you.

Stay tuned for some more Coffee With to see who else I acquired in this trade.

Coffee With Dua Lipa

Okay, okay, I have a confession to make....I occasionally turn my coffee on, grab my laptop and turn on some Dua Lipa.

Another confession, I am doing that right now.

I am not sure what it is with her music that draws me in, but it does.

Coming from a guy who normally only listens to hits from the 80's and 90's (usually the only other new music I listen to is Paramore), having Dua Lipa on my playlist feels out of place.

But, it jams and jams hard.

So, when I found out her new CD release came with an autograph, I had to have it.

And on top of that, the CD case is like a Sportflix card.

Full blown lenticular. Quite cool.

Here was the signed insert inside of the CD cover.

I am glad I acquired this before it went Houdini.

If you didn't know, that was reference to her song. It was a pretty good fit in that sentence.

Any Dua Lipa fans reading this today...at least those who admit to it. Let me know your favorite song in comments. I have too many to choose just one.

Coffee With Dan Lauria

What would you do if I drank some coffee?
Would you be jealous of me?
Lend me your cup and I'll pour you a cup
I will try not to spill any, yeah

Oh, baby I get happy with coffee
By with a little help from my coffee maker.
All I need is my coffee
By with a little help from my coffee maker
I said I'm gonna get by with a little cup of coffee
I will share a little help with my friends

Whoa oh oh oh oh

If you grew up when I did, you would have spent some time on ABC watching The Wonder Years. I didn't know many that didn't grow up at least watching the show or at least hummed the theme song.

The show and the song bring back a lot of nostalgic memories. When I found that Lauria, who played the stern and loving father Jack Arnold on The Wonder Years, had an autograph for cheap-I snagged it.
Fun parallel on top of that.

The card is numbered to 25.

As with any autograph card I add and chase, this was a nice addition to the nostalgic PC.

Now if only I could add a Savage and especially a McKellar someday.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

Hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend. I probably won't post again until next week. I had some extra time this week so took advantage to try and catch up on some posts.

Coffee With Charles Martinet

It's another late-night post, which will probably be the only way I can squeeze some in right now, but it works.

I am hoping you can still enjoy a cup of coffee no matter what time you are reading this. I already enjoyed three today myself.

I do have some mail day posts from others to post and wanted to post first, but I didn't have the time for that tonight so wanted to do a quick post instead.

*yawns a little, but is more focused tonight than the last post*

I am sure some of you reading tonight's post title are like, who is Charles Martinet while others are like, oh-I know who that is!

If any of you are gamers or even know the name Mario, I am sure you know who Martinet is.

He is the original voice of Mario for the Nintendo video games and was Mario from 1991 up until he retired in 2023. The new guy just isn't the same. You can tell the difference.

I remember playing Super Mario Bros with my friend growing up plenty of times and even today, I find myself occasionally playing some Mario Kart or Mario Party when I have free time. Most of that time when I do play it's with and against family.

And I am not that great at it. Nothing I can brag about that's for sure.

But, as with most of my non-sport pickups, its nostalgia driven.

So, when I found out he was on the 2024 Leaf Pop Century checklist, I had to have a copy.

And it did not disappoint. Clean signature and a cool Mario drawing that adds a special touch.

This copy is /6. I didn't care if it was numbered or not, I just wanted a copy.

*yawns again before finishing up today's post*

Martinet is one of a few recent autograph additions to my Non-Sport PC. I have been putting a bigger emphasis on adding more non-sports than sports recently.

I can't wait to show those off and the cool cards I got in the mail from others.

More #CardsOverCoffee on the way.

Hope everyone has a great nights sleep...just make sure you read this when you wake up.

Coffee With Craig T. Nelson

Good morning!!

Well, it could be better. I ran out of coffee this morning and will need to make a run at some soon, but first, thought I would drop a quick post.

I am not sure if this will be my last post for a little while, but it could be. So, I am making sure that I end on a good note before a small break takes place.

However, I do have NEW Rodney's Cardboard posts going up on Sport Card Collectors blog I already had prepped, so go check those out every Sunday. There could be few other posts on there as well coming up.

But, for today, let's see what I have to show off so I can go to the store and grab some coffee.

Craig T. Nelson autograph!!

This card comes thanks to a RAK from @maevro who saw my interest in the owning it.

In my lifetime, I have watched a lot of Craig T. Nelson on my television screen. Whether that was watching the Poltergeist movies with my mom multiple times each, Coach, Yes Dear, Monk, CSI:NY, Young Sheldon, The Incredibles movies (signed sticker above), both Book Club movies, and The Proposal to name a few of my favorites. But he has shown up many other times as well.

So, owning this autograph is a pretty cool addition since he is a part of my nostalgia which is a big focus in my collection.

Today in comments, let me hear your favorite Nelson role.

Also, a big-big thanks to @maevro for this awesome RAK. Really appreciate it!!!!

Time to make a coffee run. Hope the rest of you have a great day.

Coffee With Karen Gillian

Coffee is ready and I have a card as hot as my coffee.

Hoping you are sitting down for the newest #CardsOverCoffee.

*takes a sip*

If you read any of my blog posts in 2023, you would have seen that I have grown into quite the Marvel fan watching almost every movie last summer.

One of my favorite franchises in the Marvel movie series was Guardians Of The Galaxy. The mix of humor, action and some incredible scenery caught my attention.

Which is why I started collecting the cards from the movie, especially of Nebula who is one of my favorite characters from the films. I also like Star Lord and Drax.

Nebula is the adopted daughter of Thanos, the main villain of the Avengers series. Nebula was originally a supervillain who fought against the Avengers, but later joined the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight against evil including Thanos.

In the movie, Nebula is portrayed by Karen Gillian who I knew previously from the new Jumanji movies. Which I really enjoyed those movies as well and can quote from them.

So, I have been wanting to add her autograph to my collection as a centerpiece for my Nebula PC (and because of Jumanji) and finally found someone on Twitter who had one for trade.
@BeantownChris91 posted this card for sale on the weekly non-sport thread hosted by @TGNCards. Not having any funds, I inquired about the card to see if there was any chance of a trade which he was happy to do.

With a blink of an eye, I was able to add this to my collection.
Back of the card.

Thanks to @BeantownChris91 for the smooth easy trade transaction.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

There are still other autographs I would love to add to my collection from the Guardians, but the prices are out of my range, and I don't ever find too many people who have them for trade.

But as I learned with this Nebula add, it doesn't hurt to keep chasing because maybe you will catch a break.

Coffee With Fran Drescher (AGAIN)

Coffee and a new...but old...autograph...

*takes a sip*

If you think this is Deja vu or that I am drinking from the same cup of coffee, you may not be wrong.

Except drinking from the same cup of coffee. That would be gross.

Three years ago, I had sent a TTM to Fran Drescher and she returned back my index card along with a photo signed. You can see that previous post HERE.

The problem was, while sorting my TTM scores, the return I got from her was lost. I was disappointed as that was a piece of my nostalgic past. Nostalgia means the most to me in this hobby.

After failing to find it, I decided that maybe I would send a new one in hopes she would return it....again. I haven't had much luck with trying that in the past.

Fortunately for me, she did. Even inscribed it.
.
Thanks Fran for sending this back. Now I have another memory keeper in my pile.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Coffee With: Jane Fonda

*sits down, asiago bagel with light butter on one side, coffee on the other, laptop and card in front*

*takes a sip*

*takes a bite, a second bite, a third bite*

*takes another sip*

*another sip for good measure and time for Cards Over Coffee*

There is such a big list of autographs in this year's 2023 Pop Century I have been wanting to add to my collection, but those darn finances get in the way. Stupid bills and stuff, why do we have to pay them anyways?

So, for now, I will trade for and add what I can when I can. It's all we can do right?

Today's autograph add is from a legendary actress who has starred in tons of films including one "chick flick" that I really enjoyed.

Don't let that change your opinion on this blogger, I know you watch "chick flicks" to. Admit it.

*takes another sip and bite*
Jane Fonda starred in Book Club. A romantic comedy that also featured Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen as four friends who read Fifty Shades of Grey as part of their monthly book club and compare their lives to the book in which leads them on some quirky and comical adventures.

Some of the circumstances that occur are quite hysterical which is why I enjoyed the movie.

With most of my autograph pickups being nostalgic from my childhood, this one is more of a memory of watching both movies, yes there was a sequel as well, with my wife who enjoyed them as well.

I guess you can say as I get older, this card will to become a nostalgic piece. But, for now, let me stay as young as I can and let this card just be in the moment.

Let me know in comments if you have seen the Book Club movie or your favorite Jane Fonda film.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

There is much more to go with Pop Century autograph needs. I really need to transfer my list in last months post to my overall Want List that you can check out HERE.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Coffee With Matchbox 20

*sits down, turns on some music from Matchbox 20 and gets ready for a new post on Cards Over Coffee*

The last year or so, I have been chasing down autographs from singers and have added one from Taylor Swift, Mandy Moore, and Elton John to name a few of the recent ones. Somewhere I also have one from the drummer of Train.

I think Facebook knew this when they put an ad up for the new Matchbox 20 album that the preorder came with, you guessed it, an autograph album cover.

I haven't heard any of Matchbox 20's newest tunes, but really, really love their older stuff.

*takes a sip, begins to hum an older matchbox 20 tune..okay...wasn't humming was doing best to sing it and was glad that nobody was around to listen*

*takes another sip from dry mouth of "singing'*

Not hearing their newer music wasn't going to stop me from taking advantage of being able to add their autograph to my collection. Especially since a lot of their older songs bring me a lot of nostalgia and memories.

Here is their new album.

and the autographed album cover. Really cool.

I am glad that the autograph came separately so I can listen to the CD without messing with the autograph. Maybe I will find a song or two that catches me.

If not, I still have plenty of other Matchbox 20 songs that I enjoy including,
Back2Good
Push
3AM
Real World
How Far We've Come
These Hard Times
Bent
If You're Gone
Unwell

This is not all of them, but just the more important ones to me. I even liked a few of the Rob Thomas solo songs.

I am very happy with my latest addition, and I am always on the lookout for the next one. Maybe Facebook will read this post and help me discover my next. We all know they are paying attention.

In comments today, let me know your favorite Matchbox 20 song and if you have added any musical autographs to your collection recently.

Coffee With Mandy Moore

*takes a very excited chug...this post and item has been a long time coming.*

*takes another sip*

My latest mail day from Shane from Cheap Wax Wednesday fame came with such a big collection item, I carried the box home from my mailbox like Gollum saying, "My Precious".

I barely made it through the door before ripping into it.

And there it was. My second most wanted autograph sitting right there. I couldn't believe it and now I want you guys to believe it.

*takes a sip before showing off the item*

Since 1999, I have been a big fan of Mandy Moore's music and acting and may have had a crush on her as well.

I have added a couple of cards of her over the years, she isn't featured on many, but have always wanted an autograph for my collection. It serves both as a fan piece and a nostalgic piece.

When I saw that Mandy was releasing a new CD. I checked it out and noticed that if you pre-ordered it, it came with a very special item.

A signed art piece!

With Shane's assistance, I was able to get one.

Such a great item!! This goes up there with my Elton John add this year.

Thanks to Shane for the assistance on this piece.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

In comments today, let me know your favorite Mandy Moore song, movie or TV show spot.

Mandy, if you are reading this, thank you for signing these for fans and keep doing what you are doing!

Coffee With Tom Arnold

*sits down, gets ready for a new cards over coffee post*

It has been a while since I posted in this series. Mostly because it has been a while since I have added a non-sport autograph.

Well, all of that changed when I added two, one will be posted today and a really special one for another day, when I made my latest trade with Shane from Beckett's Cheap Wax Wednesday fame.

He was able to go to this year's National and picked up some cards for me while he was there. One of those cards includes an autograph from an actor who has been in so much TV and movies that he should be household name.

Let's welcome Mr. Tom Arnold as my newest non-sport autograph add.

*takes a sip before showing off today's card*

When I first saw Tom Arnold, it was from his appearances on Rosanne. Which is totally an underrated all-time comedy by the way.

But since then, I have watched him in multiple movies including True Lies, Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, Dickie Roberts, and The Stupids just to name a few.

Thanks to Shane for this latest add!

In comments today, let me know your favorite Tom Arnold movie or show appearance.

Let's Get It Right This Time

*sits down excitedly with an envelope from the NY Giants. takes a sip, opens it up again, and gets ready for a new Cards Over Coffee post*

IT HAS ARRIVED!!!

Back in January after the NY Giants hired their next head football coach, I jumped on sending him a TTM (through the mail) autograph request like I had with the previous two coaches. Unlike the past two coaches who returned my request within a month, I waited months on this return wondering if it would actually arrive or not.

Which was okay with me as I know he has lot of other stuff to focus on, especially with this team and roster. That comes first for him and for me even.

I had actually given up all hope on getting a return on it since it had been months, but out of the blue (see what I did there)  came an envelope addressed from the NY Giants. I had a good feeling about it.

Here it is! Autograph of new Giants head coach Brian Daboll and it's even inscribed to me! He will be framed on my wall to replace previous autographs I got from coaches Joe Judge and Pat Shurmur.

I think the photo captures him and his personality I have seen so far. Let's just hope he can take this team in the right direction. As much as I like collecting autographs from the Giants, it can get a little tiring sending for a new coach one every two years after seeing losing results.

Thanks again to Brian Daboll for taking time out for a big Giants fan.

Thoughts on my latest autograph add and if you ever sent out requests for head coaches or managers.

Have a terrific Tuesday.

Coffee With Coolio

*sits down, takes a sip and get's ready for the newest post on Cards Over Coffee*

It has been a long time since I have added any autographs to my non-sports PC. WAY TOO LONG.

I have such a long list of autographs I want but haven't had the funds to grab them. That was until my birthday in March where I got a few small eBay gift cards.

Normally, I grab some cheap cards so I can land multiple mail days and stretch the mail day out as long as possible, but I decided this time to pull the trigger on a card I had my eye on for a few years that would eat up one gift card.

It was worth it.

*takes a sip*

I was never really into rap in the 90's, I was more of a pop kind of guy. But, one catchy song always came on the radio and I really liked it.

Gangsta's Paradise was released by Coolio in 1994-1995 and was featured on the soundtrack for the movie, 1995 hit movie Dangerous Minds.

I hadn't seen the movie until I met my wife, but the song I could listen to all of the time. Though I was far from a Gangsta's Paradise. Unless you consider out in the boonies just that. It was probably more like Rednecks's Paradise.

With anything that ties into nostalgia for me, I try to find a card that goes with it.
I discovered that Coolio had a signature in the 2015 Americana set and had it in my watchlist for a while. Luckily this cheaper one I had in my watchlist never sold.

Back of the card talks more about his reality TV visits than his music. Kind of odd, but will go with it.

I have tried to listen to other songs by Coolio, but they never really caught on with me. Like I said, I don't listen to a lot of rap music especially today.

Let me know in comments your favorite Coolio song or songs in comments.

Have a Super Saturday.

Coffee With Bob Saget

*sits down, has a cup of coffee ready and an evenly buttered asiago bagel to pair it with. sounds like a good time for some Cards Over Coffee*

I don't think you cannot call yourself an 80s or 90s kid if you didn't grow up with some version of Bob Saget on your television.

Whether that be the guy cracking side jokes while people got hit in the crotch on America's Funniest Home Videos-which I had no clue this show still existed on TV still-or as the fun-loving-OCD cleanaholic dad on Full House. He was a part of your childhood...somehow.

I watched both AFV and Full House growing up and enjoyed both shows. Probably more Full House than AFV, there is only so many times you can watch the same types of videos over and over again. With him being a piece of my childhood, I had to find an autograph card like I do with most of the actors I grew up watching.

And my search led me to this 2004 Leaf Rookies and Stars Fans Of The Game autograph. With a little luck, I landed it much cheaper than it is going now. This was actually an autograph add from three years ago I forgot to show off on here and figured it was time to do so.

Having been born in Philly, it is no surprise to me that Bob is an Eagles fan. Even though I don't like his choice of team, I won't hold it against him.

Bob recently starred in a continuation series to Full House, Fuller House that was played on Netflix. I plan on watching the series at some point and bought the DVD seasons so I can do so.

He also lended his voice to be the future Ted Mosby on the TV series, How I Met Your Mother which was a great show by the way. I am not sure the new series coming out How I Met Your Father can quite match what the original series brought or if they will use Bob in any form on that version either.

In comments today, let me know what you watched Bob Saget in or if you have listened to or seen his Stand Up comedy.

Hope everyone has a great Friday.
