Good morning Coffee and Card friends!
As expected, I didn't expect a lot of cards for Christmas from family as it's been that way the last few years.
Unlike my blogging family who sent me some really cool stuff, that's for another day.
I did get a few things to open to satisfy that craving and a couple gift cards as well so I was a happy "kid".
The first thing I got to open was a 2025 Donruss football tin.
Last year I did pretty well when I got one of these pulling some key rookies and pulling an autograph so I was pretty excited to be able to break another one this year.
Each tin comes with 3 packs of 5 cards. Depending on where you buy them, price ranges for these can be between $12.99-$19.99.
There are no guarantees in terms of hits other than 15 cards.
Instead of boring you with mostly base cards, though I am still pro-base, I summed up the key cards I got in this break.
My best rookie pull which was Omarion Hampton, no relation to my guy Rodney.
I pulled one purple Press Proof parallel in each pack,
Mark Brunell, who still is one of my favorite quarterbacks of the 90's.
Kyle McCord. Not sure this guy will ever see the field.
This poor guy got traded to the team featured on the card with him.
Next up, inserts.
Shedeur Sanders Bomb Squad, probably my best pull of the tin.
Dominators Bijan Robinson. What a season this guy had!
Eric Ayomanor Elite Series Rookies. Love that shine!
Well, that does it for the tin. Nothing too great, nothing too bad. It was meh. It was what you paid for.
Let me know your thoughts on this break in comments and if you have broken one of these before.
I would also like to point out the new way pictures will be taken this year. Hope you like it!
Have a terrific Tuesday.

Cool cards but no Giants? Haven't had the chance to break one of those. Haven't ripped a pack of anything for quite a while. The coffee is good this morning. Had some freezing rain so the roads are bad news. Enjoy the Tuesday all!
ReplyDeleteI think Panini/Score is getting to repeatedly every year with football the same type of Inserts on certain products & Whats deal with only 3 packs for the tin at least they could've given 10 packs for the price at least & I agree with RJ no G-men Inserts sad no Roger's Gs least favorite franchise either(according to my insider friend the team he least likes in location is the NFC North & they have coach thats willing to go for it on 4th down alot & is on Applebee's ads & is where the Steelers mishandled the Seahawks in SB XL)
ReplyDeleteThe Sanders Bomb Squad is a cool looking card, but I think Panini has sort of driven that insert set into the ground over the past few years. I guess their philosophy is if it ain't broke don't fix it.
