Guess You Have To Like Em
Mother-in-laws can be mother-in-laws.
They can be the ones you hide from at family get togethers, the ones you don't answer the phone when you see their number pop up, the ones you have nightmares about, the ones that haunt you for the rest of you life.
But, they can also be the ones who are caring, who do what they can for you, and are just happy you are the one married to their child.
My mother-in-law is a combination of both. Sometimes she drives me crazy and then other moments, she comes through with a surprise or two.
So for every moment she comes over to my house and makes those absurd comments about my toaster oven being full of crumbs or how I should be parenting, she also has those moments where I find a coffee, a snack or even some sports cards.
Though most of the time she doesn't always bring the greatest stuff, she at least tries and I have to credit her for that.
On the other hand, sometimes....she finds some diamonds in the rough.
That's where today's post comes into play.

The cards were shoved into a green grocery bag all loose. Most of what was in there was 1974 baseball and a few peeks of hockey. As someone who wasn't born until 1983 and didn't get into sport cards until 1994 and into sports until 1995, there wasn't a lot that really had my interest in the group. I didn't know most if not any of the players.
I am sure most baseball bloggers reading this right now have their jaws dropped in disbelief.
*offers sip of coffee to those bloggers with their jaws dropped*
It's still a magnificent piece and really sharp signature.
