Card #100 Of 2026 Has Arrived

*coffee is in hand, blogger is finding time to blog, let's go*

*takes a sip*

*takes another, it's -13 so far today, needs all hot coffee can intake*

Well, I have reached the second minor milestone of 2026 and I reached it at the end of February, two weeks after I reached the first minor one.

It's card #100 of the year. Doesn't seem like many when you really break it down.

With this newest update, this means I am now averaging 1.69 cards a day over a 59 day span which is more than what I was averaging two weeks ago when it was 1.14 cards a day.

Hopefully, my numbers will continue to increase as the year goes on.

Without further ado, Card #100 of the year and it's a shiny one at that.

This card, a 2025 Mosaic Bang Mosaic Parallel of Brian Burns, comes via my friend @TCovCards11, he sent me a few goodies and after I got down adding them to my yearly total, this was card #100.

Thanks again to TCov for the cards and for helping reach this goal.

Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday. Stay warm.

Coffee Break:2025 Mosaic Football Holiday Box

I was trying to think of another post to do instead of this one today, but with the NFL Playoffs going on and it being the last of my Christmas stuff to post, I said, let's just do it.

So, here we are.

*takes a sip of freshly brewed coffee*

*takes another sip, begins to rip*

2025 Mosaic Holiday is a new addition to the Panini lineup. I think they are just creating products at this point to make all of the money they can before their final important license is lost.

Every box comes with one pack of ten cards and costs just under $12. In those ten cards you get one "candy cane" parallel and the box itself has an embedded ornament. Those two things are really the only difference between the product and regular Mosaic.

Here was my embedded ornament,
Chase. Not a bad one to get out of the six.

Now onto the pack rip. Which I only picked out the key cards from the pack to show off.
My first Russ in a Giants uniform card.

This guy played really well to end the season, could be a guy to watch next season.

Plain and boring insert. This isn't the 90's anymore.

And the Candy Cane parallel. These are pretty nice. I wished it had been a better player, but at least the card looks cool. I have actually a few of these since.

That was about all the excitement you get from these. The other cards were all base. No other parallels or inserts.

Other than the Candy Cane parallel, pretty boring/lame product.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

I have finally finished up my posts for the 2025 Christmas season. Now it will finally be time to move onto this year.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Coffee Break:2025 Mosaic Football Blaster Box #2

Well....well...well...what do we have here....that's right box #2 in my trade break.
I am beginning my show off of retail wax that I got in the 9-card lot of autograph Daniel Jones cards I traded away. If you missed that, here is the ARTICLE.

I thought I would start out with the football blasters first and now it is time for the second football one.

Without further ado, let's start to rip and take a sip with these highlights,

My first Woody Marks rookie card. Yeah, that was supposed to be exciting, this is the best excitement I have for a guy with a unique name.

Dart Variation! Bad part, I already had two of these....this one will be going to a friend.

Sadly, that was it for the rookie highlights.

Now inserts.

This is a subset and a player I strongly dislike, but wanted to show it off to add some meat to this post.

This guy has been playing lights-out good, despite how bad this season has gone for the Giants, he has been a bright spot. This card is also a new PC piece.

Now onto the parallels.

Ughhh another Eagle. This time A.J. Brown. This is a "Mosaic" parallel.

Another "Mosaic" parallel. This time a rookie insert of McMillian who has played really well in Carolina.

Will Campbell. Another team I despise and an offensive lineman, ugh.

This guy started on my fantasy team but it wasn't long before I cut him.

Team color match on this Elevate. This is the one-per-blaster Orange Fluorescent.

Silver of Audric Estime. I have seen and heard the silvers seem to be the tougher pulls this year.

And finally, Justin Jefferson green parallel. Good player, bad team. Seems there is a lot of that.

There you have it. Another break and another kind of dull one at that but at least two Giants were in this one. To put these into perspective. Each Mosaic blaster box was $29.99. I have a feeling I didn't lure that back with either box break or even combined.

But, let me know in comments what you think.

In the meantime, I will finish my cup and get ready to seize the day.

Coffee Break:2025 Mosaic Football Blaster Box #1

It is time!
I am beginning my show off of retail wax that I got in the 9-card lot of autograph Daniel Jones cards I traded away. If you missed that, here is the ARTICLE.

I thought I would start out with the football blasters first.

Without further ado, let's start to rip and take a sip with these highlights,
Dillion Gabriel rookie card. He started off okay as the Browns starter, now he is riding the pine for the other Browns rookie with a bigger last name and background.

The next three rookies are base card variations. But, before you get too excited, they are actually worth less than the base rookies. I don't know why.
Cam Ward is an okay football player on a really bad team. I am kind of glad now the Giants got who they got in Jaxson Dart.

Judkins has shown flashes this season. Could be a big part of the Browns next season.

And Ashton Jeanty. This guy was real fly in college, than he came to the Raiders where all NFL players hopes and dreams die.

Next up, insert pulls. The inserts in Mosaic unless they are parallels are really dull like the base.

Not bad names on the insert pulls, it's just that they aren't worth much and are kind of lame.

Let's hope the parallel pulls are better.
No relation to my main PC guy, but Omarion has had a great start to the season when he is healthy on the field. Solid find here with the green parallel.

Kyle Williams rookie insert parallel.

Kareem Hunt "Mosaic" parallel.

New to blasters this year, the Fluorescent Orange parallel. Kind of cool and not a bad player to find either. This parallel falls one-per-blaster this year.

And finally,

Mean Joe Greene green parallel. Say that five times fast without coffee in your mouth.

Nothing to really too exciting in box one. No Giants for my PC. No autograph finds. No case hits. Not really any player PC finds either like Mahomes. I would say the Hampton was the find of the box then Jefferson.

Let me know if you agree in comments.

Tomorrow I will post the other box break of Mosaic, let's hope it outdoes box one.

3/6/2023

March 6th 2023.

What were you doing? Do you remember?

I don't. I am lucky if I remember what I did two days ago at this point in my life. Yes, I even forget about the good cups of coffee.

All I can recall though is that I was counting down to turning 40 in 13 days from that date.

Otherwise, blank.
But, apparently with a recent, yes RECENT mail day I was reminded I was waiting on a mail day as well.

That mail day was coming from @tacocarebear and she had mailed me a Jasson Dominguez card for free for my PC. The card had never arrived and the tracking had never been updated. I kept in contact messaging @tacocarebear back and forth about it for a few months and by late summer last year, I had completely given up and forgotten about the card.

And then out of nowhere last week, it arrived.

A year and a half later.

The tracking for the card showed no history other than it arriving in CT on July 23rd 2024 and if I wanted to do an expand search on it for tracking, USPS wanted to charge me. Though I was curious, I wasn't going to give the USPS any further funds for their mess ups.

I was just happy the card actually showed up.

Funny enough, the card is a 2021 Mosaic International Men Of Mastery. I guess he was a master of going into hiding....maybe Internationally. Who knows.

I know USPS has been bad recently but didn't expect this bad. I don't think I have ever seen this level bad before.

Thanks to @tacocarebear for the card.

I may not have remembered much about 3/6/3023, but now it may be a date I never forget.

Counting It Down

Coffee is hot, cards are even hotter.

I have a mail day from blog reader Oren to show off from our latest trade, so, let's do some Cards Over Coffee so I can show it off.

*takes a sip*

We all like countdowns.

Whether that's a countdown to launch for a spaceship, a countdown til you retire (I bet most people now-a-days don't count this down because nobody can afford to retire), a Top 20 music countdown, maybe a countdown to some big life event such as a wedding or family vacation, or maybe everyone's favorite, a sport card mail day countdown.

Today, I am doing a countdown of my favorite cards in my trade with Oren.

12.

11.
Wild Card created Chrome before Chrome was Chrome. Imagine if these had refractor parallels?!!?

10:

Brian Griese Finest Rookie. Griese was one of those sought after rookies in the 1998 class along with Ryan Leaf and of course Peyton Manning.

9.
Topps Chrome inserts whether they are refractors or not, just look good.

8.

7.

7 and 8 are set needs. This set had different levels to chase. There was the green base level, the next level was blue and the top was red. I think the reds were a little tougher to chase. Each pack also only came with only one red or one blue.

6.

Flair Wave Of The Future design got better by the years. This is probably the weakest design, but I love the blue on it.

5.
Dufex. That's all.

4.
I rank Plax up there as one of my all-time favorite Giants despite not having a long tenure with them. He is teh one that helped create Eli's career and in his early years with the Giants was pretty much unstoppable. Go ahead and YouTube him.

3.
I think a lot of Giants fans forgot what Daniel Jones was like his first year with the Giants. He led a huge comeback in his very first start and made some incredible throws his rookie year. Yes, the mistakes especially the fumbles were there but look at what Coach Daboll did his first year with him. I am still hoping he has a future with the Giants, though I have a feeling his time will end soon.

2.

1.

Are these really 2 and 1. More like 1A and 1B. I gave the slight edge to Dorsey because he was a Giant and I think the design is slightly better. But, Topps Chrome refractors in the 90's will always trump all. These cards are just stunning and make me want to set chase them both.

Well there you have it. My countdown.

Let me know if you would have made an changes to this.

In the meantime, thanks again to Oren for yet another awesome trade and you guys enjoy your coffee and cards.
