The good news is I have found some time this week to put together a few posts, but I ma heading into the final few weeks run of school which may delay me in posting more.
But, I will do my best!

3. Speaking of taking pictures, I spent an hour doing so along with uploading them to this blog to give me some new posts coming up!
4.I mailed out a couple PWE trades and began to send out my Christmas mailings. I sent two out for bloggers, both have already been received by them.
5. I began stacking cards into a pile to begin to sort at some point. I really have to finish this last run of school and basketball season starts November 3rd with open gym time for the girls, then practices in December and games starting in January. This year I am head coach so I put more on myself this year with that added responsibility. However, be ready for updates on my games as a first time head coach.
And there you have it. Five things I did in the hobby last week.
I hope to keep this series going when I have time to post on it.
Have a terrific Tuesday and in comments, tell me five things you did in the hobby last week or make a comment on mine.

I have only done three posts in this segment so far because I have been too busy to do this on a weekly basis, the last one was in June, but I wanted to let you know what this series is about if you don't remember or if you are a new reader.
This series is once again related/played on by Elon Musk's email to government officials in February 2025 asking them about what five things they did.
Also, once again, this is not about politics. I just liked the idea.

Here we go onto my five things.
1.I did a lot more social media posts across my planet of them. I started doing Rodney Hampton, Eli Manning updates along with small mail day posts on there since it's much faster to send out a social media message than putting up a big blog post.
If you want to catch up on stuff you missed out on, here is a list of all of my social media channels:

2. I took some pictures of my latest Eli Manning cards to post, but decided this was the post I would use those in.

Five things? I opened up a care package, sorted the contents, scanned the cards, wrote a blog post, then organized/integrated them into my collection. Looking forward to Thanksgiving break... that's when my school year will hopefully slow down and I can do more card related stuff.
ReplyDeletehmmmh. Last week, I did a lot of sorting PC guys (M's), sorted some Braves, Put those Braves in their binders, went to a card show, and removed the show cards from the top loaders and sorted them too. Pretty much should be the same every week with a whole lot more too lol.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done very much in the hobby this last week. I wrote one post and grabbed a few goodies at the card store (post should be coming within a couple weeks), and that's about it.
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, those Manning cards are awesome! The Wild Card Splat specifically caught my eye. Cool card
Made a trade on TCDb. Sold a handful of cards. Organized a few boxes to make them easier to handle. Edited some of my lists of cards. Read a bunch of great blog entries and commented on them. Thank you blog writers! Great cards and I am going to need more coffee today on this dreary rainy day. Enjoy it no matter what!
ReplyDeleteLast week:
