5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week

*coffee is ready and so am I for another new post on Cards Over Coffee*

*waiting for you to get coffee in hand*

*takes sip, gets ready to post*

Welcome to the next edition of 5 Things I Did In The Hobby Last Week. I almost got rid of this segment but decided I would keep it for now. Hopefully there will be more interaction, or it could be axed over the next few episodes.

For now, let's keep it rolling!

But, for those of you that are new to this segment, here is the background to it:

This series is once again related/played on by Elon Musk's email to government officials in February 2025 asking them about what five things/accomplishments they did for the week.

Also, once again, this is not about politics. I just liked the idea.

*its best to never post politics, make friends, not enemies*

Here we go onto my five things.

1.As always, I did a lot more social media posts across my planet of them. I started doing Rodney Hampton, Eli Manning updates along with small mail day posts on there since it's much faster to send out a social media message than putting up a big blog post.

If you want to catch up on stuff you missed out on, here is a list of all of my social media channels: Cards Over Coffee YouTube Channel is for cards:

Cards Over Coffee - YouTube

Matt's World Of Fun YouTube Channel is for everything else:

On top of this, I have two Facebook accounts, Cards Over Coffee and Sport Card Collectors,

Twitter/X: Coffee Card Guy

Instagram account: Coffee Card Guy

Bluesky as Cards Over Coffee

There you have that. Now go check me out on those!

2. I finally got more photos uploaded on here for future posts. Most are from the Grady M unboxing. This Chevy Chase /99 was not apart of that, but I used it for this post.

3. I replied to your comments and have been commenting on a few other blogs as well. Trying to catch up when I have time.

4. I added and took away stuff from my Watchlist on eBay. I also watched stuff I wanted sell. So there's that.

5. I put together a few more Christmas present envelopes. I have roughly 20 to mail now. I think I have hit up everyone I have wanted to this year.

And there you have it. Five things I did in the hobby last week.

I hope to keep this series going again!

*takes this posts final sip*

Tell me five things you did in the hobby last week or make a comment on mine. I will make sure to read and comment back on all of them.

I need to get myself ready for football Sunday. Go Giants!

Have a great Sunday!

  1. 5 Things I Did:

    1. I put all of my 2026 Allen & Ginter cards that I have into my binder.
    2. I updated my A&G wants on TCDB and my blog.
    3. I opened, scanned, sorted, and wrote about all of the trades that I've received over the past couple of weeks (it feels good to be caught back up).
    4. I sold a few cards on eBay, the money is appreciated this time of year.
    5. I made it a point to comment on multiple blogs this week.
