One Down, Nine To Go!

We are only two months into 2026 and I just posted my Top 10 I want to acquire in 2026 list a few weeks ago and one of those ten have been acquired!

A couple weeks ago, I received a message from long time friend Stephen on Instagram, @keyon_korner, that he was about to acquire one of the cards from my Top 10 list and send it to me just because.

What a great friend he has always been.

Within a few days he did just that and threw in a very low numbered bonus card as well that I will show off below.

The main card he sent is the 7th card on my list, though none of these are in any particular order of which one is most important.

90's collectors, try to not be jealous of this one...

I now officially own the 1995 Summit Ground Zero parallel Curtis Martin card. One of the toughest ones I needed for my set chase!! I am not too far away from finishing this one now!

Only, 35,53,60,64,71,79,103,109,125,136,137,138,159,160,169,174,177,178,179,180,182,188,189,193,195,196,197,198,200 remain and I will finally complete this bad boy after 31 years.

I guess I should have added completing this set as one of the Top 10 cards I want to add in 2026. Maybe I should do a set version of this list.

Speaking of the Top 10 list, here are the other nine cards I am looking to add in 2026 if any of you have them,
  1. 2024 Prizm (not draft) Caitlin Clark base rookie.
  2. 1994-95 Collect-A-Card Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The New Season - Acetate Character PlastiCards #CS-6 - The White Ranger.
  3. 1994-95 Collect-A-Card Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The New Season - Acetate Character PlastiCards Lord Zedd
  4. 1998 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion Peyton Manning
  5. 1997-1998 Metal Universe Base Michael Jordan
  6. 1996-1997 Metal Universe Base Michael Jordan
  7. 1995 Summit Ground Zero Curtis Martin
  8. Pop Century Ed O'Neil Autograph.
  9. 1997 Topps Chrome Refractor Jake Plummer Rookie
  10. 1992 Bowman Mariano Rivera
Now onto that really cool bonus card I mentioned above that Stephen sent along as well,

Check out this 2014 Select Blue autograph parallel /5 of Andre Williams, who is one of my bigger Giant player collections and this a new one for it. Really sweet card, more so in person.

Thanks goes out to Stephen for this great mail day and for helping me knock down a big set need.

I will hopefully be able to finish this set now that Stephen gave me the big boost. This was one of my favorite parallels of the 90's.

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday night. I know I am after looking at these two cards again.

In comments, let me know what big card are you still missing in your set chase?

The Ghost Of Christmas Box Part 3

*sits down with a big stack of cards nearby, takes sip, gets ready for a new post on Cards Over Coffee*

I felt like the good version of Scrooge this Christmas season as my mail box was visited by three blogger mail days.

I had the ghost of Christmas Box, the ghost of Christmas Card and the Ghost of Christmas Package.

For today's post, you will be visited by the last ghost, the Ghost Of Christmas Box which was sent by Wes who is famously known for the packages he sends.

And this one was such a whopper, I broke it up into four posts and didn't even come close to covering it all. I had to narrow it down to the like the Top 45ish and leave the rest for your imagination.

Let's keep the momentum flowing!

*takes a sip*

We kick off today's part with an autograph The San Diego chicken card. Nice signature as well.

You may be wondering who in the world is Sandro Platzgummer? Well, he was one of the players on the Giants as apart of the International Player Pathway Program.

He was apart of their practice squad but never quiet made it to the main roster. He did have a nice 48-yard run in the preseason was my biggest memory of him.

NEW RODNEY'S X 2! These Amped Up swatch autographs for some reason or another hold a premium compared to other Rodney autographs regardless of what it's numbered to.

I felt the 2015 Panini Country Music product is underrated, some really nice swatch cards can be found it. I am not a fan of Country Music, but it's a fun card product with some legendary names.

I have been wanting to add this one to my Darius Rucker PC for awhile. Now I have the base auto, the autograph silhouette and now this.

This one has been on my Top Wants list for awhile. The 90's relic cards are much better than today's. This one is a back to back featuring Joe Montgomery and Ike Hilliard.

I ain't no redneck woman, but Gretchen Wilson is. Another autograph knocked down from my Country Music autograph needs.

Yes, it's the Dark Sith as a Giants fan, but, it's a card I have wanted since it was included in 1995 Crown Royale and has been sitting on my Top Want Lists a long time. Well, since I created it on here. It's not often you see a team's owner included in a set and these aren't always easy to find.

A major need for the Kerry Collins collection. Die-Cut autograph from the 90's. This is why 90's always did it better.

One more part to go. What remains to be seen? Well, you will have to wait until tomorrow.

Have a great Sunday, unless you are a Patriots or Eagles fan. Let me fix that, you can have a great day, just not your team.

Parks And Recreation

It's been over a week since the last post on here, I suppose it's time for some Cards and some Coffee.

I have both next to me, so let's get this party going!

*takes a sip*

I get a lot of TV show suggestions time after time and most of them don't hit home. One of those in particular is The Office. I just can't get into it even though it's loved by all.

However, another show with the same kind of premise, I recently really got into recently.

That show is Parks and Recreation.

The show ran for 7 seasons from 2009-2015 and takes place in a Parks and Recreation office led by Leslie Knope who is played by Amy Poehler. The cast is really solid and works well together as you watch relationships build and the comedy rolls on with the situations they are placed in. Along with Poehler, the cast consists of Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Rob Lowe, Aubrey Plaza and Chris Pratt to name a few. There were also some guest stars as well.

So far, I have only made it halfway through season 2, so no spoilers in comments please! But I have enjoyed every episode all the way from the start.

*takes a sip, thinks about putting on an episode while typing this up but knows the article won't get done if that was the case*

*takes another sip*

After getting into the show, I remembered that back in 2013 Press Pass created a Parks and Recreation card set. I wasn't into the show then when I opened a box and had no idea who or what the show was, but now I do and now I want the cards.

So, a chase happened.

I do have a couple autographs and relics I will show another time, but I wanted to chase the base set and silver parallel set as well.

After weeks of posting on Twitter that I was looking for said sets, I finally had someone replied and we pulled off a trade.

Included in my portion of the trade was an almost complete base set, missing card #6.

And roughly an almost complete silver parallel set. I will have to write those numbers down sometime.

I will have to do an Unfinished Cup at some point on this set.

If any of you have any kicking around and want to check in with what I need, just drop me an email at sportcardcollectors@hotmail.com.

Thanks again to @wolf_and_saint for the trade. I hope you enjoyed what I sent as much as I enjoyed what you sent.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

I have also gotten a few other mail days recently as well and will be posting those soon too along with a few other special posts.

Hope everyone has been drinking their coffee during my hiatus on here and saying cheers while waiting for my return.

Have a great Monday.

Man Vs Coffee

*takes a sip, gets ready for a new Cards Over Coffee*

I am not sure what it is about me, but I love watching food on TV. I love seeing what kind of food offerings there are across the country and one of my favorite shows that offers a good look at some delicious food is Man Vs Food.

Not only does the show present food, but it has food challenges that the hosts have to take on in a certain amount of time. Some of them are absolutely ridiculous and I am not sure how the hosts even finished it. You must really have to train for that kind of eating.

Makes you wonder how well Joey Chesnut would do with some of those challenges.

*takes a sip*

When I first started watching Man Vs Food, the host is the guy featured on my latest card pickup that I snagged for $1.

*takes a sip, wonders if I should take on a coffee challenge*

Adam Richman is a TV personality that was the host of Man Vs Food from 2008-2012. He took on many of the nation's biggest food challenges such as 10-pound stuffed pizza for example. His personality made the show even more interesting, and I think he was a great choice for a show like that.

Even though Adam doesn't host Man Vs Food anymore, he is still on television hosting a variety of other food related programs.

Man Vs Food was off the air for many years after Richman exited before being revived back in 2017 with a new host in Casey Webb who puts his own spin and personality on it. He does a great job as well.

*takes a sip before finishing up today's post*

Someday I hope to check out some of the places featured on this show . I won't be participating in any of the challenges....unless it involves a 10-cup coffee challenge.

Man vs Coffee....MAN WINS!

I hope everyone has a great day.

In comments today, let me know if you watch food shows like this one and which ones are your favorite.
