*the fresh aroma of coffee wakes every sense in the body. Today is a day of celebration so it may take an extra cup or two to enjoy this occasion.*
One year ago today, I decided to put together a small blog about cards and coffee.
I wasn't sure how often I would post on this blog or how long I would keep it, but I have "chugged" on so far and have no plans at this point of stopping the brew from percolating.
The content that I put on this blog takes me a lot of time as I go back and edit every post until I am happy enough to hit publish on it. Which is why I can't put a post a day up on here as I don't have hours a day to give up. I am okay with that though as I would rather have better content over amount of posts any day.
*takes a sip before continuing on with the celebration*
Since today is the "birthday" of this blog, you can't have a birthday without cake....or coffee for that matter. So I grabbed a Whoopie Pie for this celebration..
They sell these at a local restaurant that serves similar food as a Chipotle in burritos and burrito bowls. It actually is our Chipotle since we don't have one here or many restaurants that most of you are probably accustomed to.
I have had a couple of these before including the maple version, but the chocolate by far surpasses that one.
*takes a sip, begins to rip...open!*
*takes a couple of bites, takes a couple more sips. Sooooooooooooooooooo good*
Before I close out today, I want to thank those of you who come here to read my ramblings and sips their morning brew along with me.
Cheers to you guys and cheers to those who have added this blog to their blogrolls, blog followed or even RT'd any of the posts on Twitter. To those of you who haven't yet, well, still cheers to you for coming to read but let's work on those other parts okay? :)
Without the support of you guys this blog wouldn't exist today. Thank you.
*takes a few more bites, a few more sips and gets working on the next post on here. Coffee Card Blogger Out*
I'm an undercover investigative journalist. Ok, I just blew my cover.
Do you actually drink coffee and eat food while you sort through your cards? Because if I ever did that, I'd be a very sad collector with a lot of soiled and coffee stained cards.
All kidding aside, the blogosphere of collectors is a lot of fun. Maybe one day I'll start my own
Actually I do! I am very cautious about it though and sometimes will eat the food in bigger bites to avoid making a mess.Delete
Yes, the blogosphere has an amazing welcoming group of collectors who collect for fun. We would love to have you join aboard!
Also, I did a "behind the scenes post" on here for Cards Over Coffee:)Delete
I see it now! I would have missed it since I hadn't really come back to collecting until last fall. I'll have to go back and eventually read all the posts that I've missed across all the blogs. Maybe even more ambitious than finishing my collection...Delete
One year already? Wow. Congratulations! Did you have a special cup of joe to celebrate, or was it the regular brew?ReplyDelete
Thanks! I had 3 cups of dark blend to celebrate!Delete
Yeah, doesn't seem like a year! Keep it comin!ReplyDelete
I know! Fastest year ever!Delete
Happy anniversary! I've really enjoyed this blog. Keep up the great work.ReplyDelete
Happy anniversary! May you keep posting until there's no more coffee to brew!ReplyDelete
As we know, the brew will always brew!Delete
I guess this means we're in for the "terrible two's" then, huh? :)ReplyDelete
Sorry, but yesDelete
